This is a very easy and tasty pakodes, made with bread and onion, a perfect tea time snack.

Ingredients to make Bread and onion pakore

  • besan 1 cup
  • salt
  • red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
  • carom seeds [ajwain] - 1/4 th tsp
  • green chillies [chopped] - 1
  • bread slices - 3
  • onion [chopped] - 1
  • coriander leaves [handful]

How to make Bread and onion pakore

  1. Take besan add all spices and salt according to your taste. And mix it.
  2. Now add water to it and mix to make a smooth thick batter.
  3. Keep it aside for 10-15 mins.
  4. Now cut the bread into small square pieces and chopp onion asper your choice (long/small).
  5. Heat the oil in pan. Now dip the bread in besan batter and fry it till golden brown. After making bread pakore. Add all chopped onion in batter some salt. Fry them also.
  6. Serve them hot with tomato sauce and pudina chutney. Onion pakore
