Whenever you crave to munch some snack, take some batter from your refrigerator and make hot crispy vadas and enjoy with coffee or tea.

Instant Vada with Dosa Batter

Ingredients to make Instant Vada with Dosa Batter

  • Idli or Dosa Batter 5 ladles
  • Sooji / semolina 2 table spoons
  • Bread Slices 2
  • Crushed pepper 1 tea spoon
  • Finely chopped ginger 1/2 tea spoon
  • curry leaves chopped few
  • Salt to adjust the addition of semolina
  • A pinch of cooking soda
  • oil for deep frying

How to make Instant Vada with Dosa Batter

  1. In a bowl add all the items mentioned above except oil and mix well till the bread slices blend well with the stuff.
  2. Heat Oil in a pan.
  3. Wet your palms, place a lemon size batter on palm and make a hole in the centre and drop in to the oil.
  4. Fry to golden brown and serve hot.

My Tip:

Adding salt bread gives perfect taste.
