Ingredients to make Pumpkin halwa

  • 1kg Red pumpkin peeled and grated.
  • 1/2 cup khoya grated
  • 4 tbsp ghee ,
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • Finely chopped almond & cashews 10-12,
  • green cardamom powder a pinch

How to make Pumpkin halwa

  1. Heat 4 tbsp ghee in a non stick pan, add Red pumpkin to it and saute.
  2. Add khoyaa and sugar mix well cook till pumpkin gets cooked and the mixture reaches halwa consitency.
  3. Reduce heat, add green cardamom powder, add chopped dry fruits mix well.
  4. Transfer halwa into a serving bowl garnish with nuts and serve.
