Masala papad

Ingredients to make Masala papad

  • urad dal flour 1/2 cup
  • 1/4 cup moong dal flour
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain seeds 1/2 tsp
  • salt per taste
  • asafoetida a pinch
  • oil 2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Papad khar 2 tsp
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • chilli powder
  • Tamota pieces 1
  • onion pieces 1
  • Yellow peas 1 cup

How to make Masala papad

  1. Add urad dal flour,moong dal flour,cumin seeds,ajwain seeds,salt,asafoetida,oil,black pepper powder,papad khar,baking soda and mix well
  2. Mix all the above ingredients and make as soft dough it vl take half an hour to knead it into soft dough
  3. Now from.dough make into round balls and make thin layer like chapathi with oil
  4. Now keep oil.to.deep fry and make papad
  5. Soak yellow peas in night n cook in cooker for 3-4 whistles in water it turns soft
  6. Cut onions,tamota into pieces
  7. Now take fried papad and add cooked peas,salt ,chilli powder,curd tamota ketchup sweet one ,onions and tamota and enjoy

My Tip:

For more taste u can add cumin powder,coriander powder on top of papad for more taste
