Banana Semolina Cake

Ingredients to make Banana Semolina Cake

  • Ripe banana Mashed - 1
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Milk - 1/3 cup
  • semolina fine - 1 cup
  • all purpose flour - 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Dry Fruits of your choice - 1 tbsp

How to make Banana Semolina Cake

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the banana (should be like a fine paste). Add oil to it and sugar ( you may increase it as per taste), essence and 1/2 of the above mentioned milk. Mix it really well with a spatula.
  2. Now add all the dry ingredients and the remaining milk. Give it one last good mix.
  3. Grease a baking tray, pour in the batter and spread it evenly.
  4. Place the tray in the oven at 176 degrees celsius and bake for about 25-30 minutes.
  5. Prick a toothpick in the center and see if it comes out clean. If it does the cake is ready to be devoured!

My Tip:

Do not use an electric blender for making the batter, just use a spatula to blend all the ingredients well.
