Ingredients to make Crispy Fish Fry

  • Fish ( Rohu / or any other ) pieces - 10
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  • Yoghurt whisked - 4 - 5 tbsp
  • Sooji ( Rawa ) 1 cup
  • Oil to fry
  • Onions and green chutney to garnish

How to make Crispy Fish Fry

  1. Wash the fish pieces and pat dry on a kitchen towel.
  2. Now marinate it nicely with yoghurt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala , ginger-garlic paste. Keep it in the refrigerator covered for a minimum of 1 hour.
  3. Take a non-stick pan and spread oil to heat.
  4. Take one fish piece and roll into the sooji nicely then fry it on the pan on one side and then the other. Follow this process with the rest of the fish pieces.
  5. Garnish with onion rings and enjoy it with green coriander chutney or sauce.
