Ingredients to make Moong dal khichadi

  • 1/2 moong dal
  • 1 Cup rice
  • 2 tsp oil
  • salt to teast
  • coriander
  • Curry leave 4-5
  • garlic 2
  • 1 Green chili
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 1/2 Tsp turmeic powder

How to make Moong dal khichadi

  1. WASH THE DAL AND RICE
  2. SOACK 30 MINUTES DRAIN AND KEEP ASIDE
  3. ADD MUSTARD SEEDS , CUMIN SEED, GREEN CHILI AND GARLIC
  4. ADD CURRY LEAVES AND CORIANDER TURMEIC POWDRE AND WASHED RICE AND DAL
  5. ADD SALT AND WATER
  6. WATER IN A PRESSURE COOKER AND PRESSURE COOK FOR 3 WHISTLES
  7. ALLOW THE STEAM TO BEFORE OPENING THE LID
  8. JUST BEFOR SARVUNG ADD GHEE AND MIX WELL
