Ingredients to make Snake gourd Dal Fry

  • Snake gourd 500 gms
  • moong dal 1/2 cup
  • coconut 1/4 cup
  • Red chillies 2
  • hing 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • salt
  • For Seasoning
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • mustard 1 tsp
  • urad dal 1 tsp
  • jeera 1 tsp
  • curry leaves 1 sprig

How to make Snake gourd Dal Fry

  1. SOAK 1/2 CUP MOONG DAL FOR 10 MINUTES
  2. ADD OIL. ADD MUSTARD. ALLOW TO CRACK. ADD 1/2 TSP JEERA.
  3. ADD 1/2 TSP URAD DAL AND 1/4 TSP HING
  4. ADD CURRY LEAVES AND SOAKED MOONG DAL
  5. ADD 500 GMS SNAKE GOURD
  6. ADD REQUIRED SALT AND 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  7. ADD LITTLE WATER. CLOSE WITH A LID AND COOK FOR 5-10 MINUTES
  8. GRIND 1/4 CUP COCONUT AND 2 RED CHILLIES
  9. ADD COCONUT POWDER AND MIX
  10. SNAKE GOURD DAL FRY READY
