Ingredients to make Saffron and spinach bread

  • maida 3 cups
  • Suger 1 TSP
  • yeast 1 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Warm milk 1/4 cup
  • Warm water 1 cup
  • Melted butter
  • oil
  • spinach
  • Safroon 1 pinch
  • egg for egg wash

How to make Saffron and spinach bread

  1. IN A BOWL ADD 1 TSP SUGER AND WARM WATER TO ACTIVATE YEAST
  2. ADD 1 TSP YEAST AND MIX WELL AND LET IT SIT FOR 10 MIN
  3. IN A BOWL ADD 3 CUPS OF MAIDA AND 1 SPOON SALT
  4. MIX IT WELL AND ADD ACTIVATED YEAST
  5. MIX IT WELL
  6. ADD LUKE WARM WATER AND KNEED TO STIFF DOUGH
  7. STIFF DOUGH READY
  8. SEPERATE IN TO 3 PARTS
  9. WARM SAFROON MILK
  10. ADD IN 1 PART OF DOUGH AND KNEED
  11. ADD LITTLE OIL AND KNEED WELL
  12. DUST SOME FLOUR AND KNEED
  13. KNEED LIKE FRONT AND BACK TILL U GET BOUNCY DOUGH
  14. SAFROON DOUGH READY
  15. FOR GREEN DOUGH BLANCE SOME SPINACH AND GRIND THEM
  16. GRIND THEM
  17. FILTER AND ADD TO THE DOUGH
  18. ADD LITTLE OIL AND ADD SPINACH JUICE WITH HALF DROP FOOD COLOUR
  19. DUST SOME MAIDA AND KNEED THEM SAME AS YELLOW DOUGH
  20. SPINACH DOUGH READY
  21. NOW ADD WARM MILK AND KNEED THE WHITE DOUGH
  22. KNEED WELL
  23. NOW GREASE THE BOWL AND REST THE DOUGH SEPERATLY FOR 90 MIN
  24. AFTER 90 MIN DOUGH DOUBLE IN SIZE
  25. NOW ROLL YELLOW DOUGH
  26. CUT IT IN TO EQUAL PIECES
  27. ROLL EACH BALL IN TO THIN
  28. YELLOW READY
  29. REPETE THE PROCESS FOR GREEN
  30. GREEN READY
  31. DUST FLOUR
  32. SPREAD WHITE DOUGH TO ARRANGE COLOUR DOUGH
  33. ITS TIME TO ARRANGE
  34. PLACE ALTERNATIVE COLOURS ON WHITE DOUGH
  35. ARRANGE ACCORDINGLY
  36. PLACE ALTERNATIVE COLOUR FOR BEAUTIFUL TEXTURE
  37. NOW BIND THE COLOUR DOUGH WITH WHITE DOUGH
  38. BEAUTIFULLY PACKED
  39. GREASE THE BREAD TRAY
  40. PLACE THE DOUGH AND APPLY MELTED BUTTER
  41. REST FOR 45 MIN
  42. NOW DOUGH RAISED ITS TIME TO BAKE
  43. FOR GLAZE APPLY EGG WASH
  44. PREHEAT OVEN AT 170° AND BAKE FOR 25 MIN
  45. ITS DONE ... LOOK AT THE GLAZE
  46. UNMOULD IT AND LET IT COOL FOR A HOUR BEFORE SLICING
