Very easy and quick to make healty dish. it is made from rice and moong dal

Moong Dal Khichadi

Ingredients to make Moong Dal Khichadi

  • 1/2 moong dal
  • 1 Cup rice
  • 2 tsp oil
  • salt to teast
  • coriander
  • Curry leave 4-5
  • garlic 2
  • 1 Green chili
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 1/2 Tsp turmeic powder

How to make Moong Dal Khichadi

  1. WASH 1/2 CUP MOONG DAL, 1 CUP RICE
  2. SOAK FOR 30 MINS, DRAIN & KEEP ASIDE
  3. HEAT 1 TBSP GHEE, ADD 1 TSP EACH OF MUSTARD & CUMIN SEEDS, 1 SLIT GREEN CHILI, 4-5 GARLIC CLOVES
  4. ADD 4-5 CURRY LEAVES, 1 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER & THE DAL-RICE
  5. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 2-3 CUPS OF WATER, PRESSURE COOK UPTO 3 WHISTLES ON MEDIUM HEAT
  6. THE KHICHADI IS READY NOW, ADD 1-2 TSP GHEE, MIX & SERVE HOT
