About Moorkulumbu Recipe

Moorkulumbu

Ingredients to make Moorkulumbu

  • butter milk 4 cups
  • 1/2 spoon turmeric
  • 1/2 spoon thovaranparrupu
  • 2 green chilly
  • 1 small cup coconut
  • 1 red chilly
  • 1/2 spoon rice
  • Small piece of ginger
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 spoon jeeragam
  • 1/2 spoon dhania
  • Grind all the above ingredients and make it a paste

How to make Moorkulumbu

  1. Cut chow chow allow it to cook in a pan then add skimmed butter milk to it
  2. Grind all the ingredients in the mixie jar make it in the form of a paste
  3. Add the grinded mixture to the butter milk
  4. Allow them to boil till u see small bubbles then switch off it
  5. The take coconut oil to season it with mustard seeds and curry leaves 1 red chilly
  6. Put the seasoning into the morkullumbu
  7. Ready to serve
