Beetroot Halwa

Ingredients to make Beetroot Halwa

  • Two medium size beetroot grated
  • Desi ghee 4-5 tsp
  • Green cardemon 4-5
  • Suger half small bowl (as per taste
  • Milk half ltr
  • almonds 10-15
  • kaju 10-15
  • Kishmish 15-20

How to make Beetroot Halwa

  1. Get all the ingridients ready and grate beetroot
  2. Now in a pan put two tsp desi ghee and saute dry fruits for few min and bring them out and set aside..
  3. And now in same pan add two tsp ghee when ghee is hot add beetroot in it and saute it for five min..
  4. After five min add milk in it and on low heat bring it boil with beetroot keep strring in betwwen now cover the lid of pan for five min on simmer heat.. Keep stirring now open the lid and boil it open.
  5. After ten min when the milk thicken add kishmish and dry fruits and green cardamon in it and keep stirring continusly.. When milk is thicken now add suger in it and mix it and get the gas off... Serve it by garnishing with some dryfruits ....

My Tip:

Add less sugar as per ur taste because beetroot have its own sweetness.. U can add sugerfree in it...
