About Egg korma Recipe

Mughlai styled egg curry, to be served with some steamed rice .

Egg korma

Ingredients to make Egg korma

  • Boiled egg 4
  • 2 medium onion chopped
  • 6 to 7 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 4 to 5 pepper corns
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 4 green cardamom
  • 4 to 5 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tbsp coconut powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 7 to 8 cashew nuts soaked in warm water
  • turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp

How to make Egg korma

  1. Shallow fry the eggs till golden from all sides. Keep aside
  2. Make a paste of garlic ginger, chillies, and whole spices adding little water .keep aside
  3. Make a paste of soaked cashew. Keep aside
  4. In a pan heat oil. Add the onions. Fry till golden..now add the garlic and whole spice paste. Mix well.
  5. Mix the coconut powder cook fr 5 min.
  6. Add cashew paste. Mix well. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder salt and sugar. Mix well. Cook fr 5 to 6 min.
  7. Add the eggs. Mix well. Add the milk. Sikmer fr 5 to 6 min. Add kasuri methi. Mix well.
  8. Serve hot
