About Mango Phirni Recipe

Its a beautiful variant of the usual punjabi phirni. A tried and tested recipe by many of my friends and the result was always a yummy dessert

Mango Phirni

Ingredients to make Mango Phirni

  • 1/2 litre milk
  • 3 tbsp paste of soaked rice
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup mango pulp

How to make Mango Phirni

  1. Pour the milk in a broad vessel and stir on medium flame for 5 minutes. Add the rice paste and sugar. And keep stirring continously.
  2. After 5 minutes once the mixture thickens turn off the flame. Now add the pulp and mix again. Pour in the serving bowl, garnish and serve chilled.

My Tip:

There is no need to thicken the milk prior to adding the rice paste since rice paste knows its job well.
