Butter chicken

Ingredients to make Butter chicken

  • chicken 800 gm
  • tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • curd 250 gm
  • cream 100 gm
  • Red chili powder 2 teaspoon
  • salt-according to your taste
  • Kasoori methi- 2 teaspoon
  • sugar - 2 teaspoon
  • lemon juice- 3 teaspoon
  • ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoon
  • butter - 200 gm
  • Mustrd oil - 2 teaspoon

How to make Butter chicken

  1. In a bowl add chicken ginger garlic paste mustard oil and curd mix well and marinate it for 1 hour
  2. Now boil tomato in water and make a smooth paste
  3. Now heat butter in a pot add tomato puree saute and stir continuously.
  4. Now add kasoori methi and red chili saute add lil water and saute till butter comes from sides.
  5. Now add chicken in it with required water
  6. Keep on low flame cooked till chicken become soft add sugar in it
  7. When chicken is well cooked add cream in it keep gravy according to your taste.
  8. Served hot with naan or tandoori roti
