Panjabis like ghee /butter very much . They oftfen make ghee at home . Panjabis make ladoos with leftover milk soilds which reamin after making ghee . It is very traditional and delish recipe .

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup leftover milk solids after making ghee
  2. 1/2 cup jaggery grated
  3. 2 tsp Atta
  4. 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  5. 2 tsp ghee / clarified butter
  6. Some almonds finely chopped

Instructions

  1. First grind leftover milk solids in a grinder. Keep this aside.
  2. Take a pan add 2 tsp ghee, add whole wheat flour into it. Roast it until nice aroma is coming out.
  3. Now add powdered or grated jaggery, mix well.
  4. Add ground leftover milk solids. Stir continuously. Turn off the gas. Add cardamom powder to the mixture.
  5. Grease your palm and make ladoos with this mixture. Garnish with chopped almonds.
