A popular dessert of Punjab but today I have made this gulab jamun with bread and it is very easy to make.

Bread Gulab Jamun

Ingredients to make Bread Gulab Jamun

  • Bread 6 pieces
  • sugar- 1 cup
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • Milk- 6 tsp
  • oil for frying
  • water -1 and 1/2 cup

How to make Bread Gulab Jamun

  1. First cut the edhes of the bread. Crush all the bread in a bowl and add milk to make a soft dough.
  2. Make a ball by rolling it on your hands. Heat oil in a pan and fry the bread gulab jamun on a low flame.
  3. For sugar syrup, heat a pan and add in water and sugar, let it boil then simmer the heat to a medium flame, add cardamom powder and boil it for 10 mins, then add the fried gulab jamun into the sugar syrup.
  4. Boil it again for 2-3 mins, then let it cool down. Coat it with coconut powder and serve.
