A croquette is a small breadcrumbed fried food roll.

Cheese Croquettes

Ingredients to make Cheese Croquettes

  • potato boiled and grated 1 cup
  • Oregano 1/4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • red chilly 1/4 tsp
  • pepper powdered 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped parsley 1 tsp
  • Cheese cubes 50 gm
  • oil to deep fry

How to make Cheese Croquettes

  1. Take a mixing bowl add boiled and grated potatoes, oregano, salt, Chili flakes, pepper powder, chopped parsley, mix it well.
  2. Take some mixture and put the cheese inside and make this into a dumpling and again shape them into barrel.
  3. Take some flour add pepper powder, salt mix it and coat the croquettes then dip it in the egg mixture and again coat the bread crumbs, continue until all croquettes have been coated.
  4. Heat the oil on a medium flame, and deep fry the croquettes till they are golden brown in colour from all sides.
  5. Serve this with mayonnaise based sauce.

My Tip:

Add less salt because cheese also has some salt.
