Eat Eggs, almond, honey, sweet potatoes, brown rice, hot soups, drink plenty of water to keep your body warm in winter. :) Have a safe journey :)
You should carry turmeric powder with you. In too cold weather like at rohtang if you feel low taking a teaspoon of turmeric powder with hot milk ( if not available take it with tea or coffee) helps a lot

Take kapur also...if u will going rohtang .and where will be less breathing or any breathing problem than u will smell it alternative. Keep relaxed to u.
Tea ;coffee biscuits ;and maggi r very easy available on and off at rohtang u can have tea n coffee .we cud not reach high at rohtang as we were having kids with us and tey were creating problems.visit to Shillong valley a very good place for adventurous sports.one imp .thing i want to share tey provide t dress n shoes at rohtang so dont overload with too much woolen clothes there as one hav to wear those clothes for t particular weather.do chew smthing on t way might be toffees candies or nuts.though its not food related but happy to share.happy n safe journey .do enjoy @Ritu.
Take a flask to have hot water. Water u will get from the hotels. Avoid cold drinks,desserts,like that. Tie a scarf arround neck always.
