Depends which recipe u use...use any of BB recipe...always use Greek yogurt because it doesn't have water so makes smooth frozen yogurt.. And for ice crystal cover the container with poly wrap then close the lid.
Hey shivani..the yogurt i used is very thick without any water in it..and your trick is really amazing ...i will surely wrap it with a poly wrap now..but what is meant by bb recipe?

I think u must boil milk to thicken it before making curd....it will reduce water content....
