ABOUT Yogurt Chicken Kebab RECIPE

This flavourful chicken kebab recipe is so easy to prepare and results in amazingly juicy chicken.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gram chicken breast cut into cubes
  2. 4 tablespoon thick yogurt
  3. 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  4. 2 tablespoon garlic paste
  5. 1 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns
  6. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  7. 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  9. 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 teaspoon refined oil for greasing
  12. 1 cup green, yellow and red bell pepper cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl,mix garlic paste, crushed black peppercorns,turmeric powder,salt, cumin powder,dried basil,paprika powder,mayonnaise and yogurt with chicken pieces.
  2. Use a spatula to combine everything together.Cover this bowl and keep aside at least for 7-8 hours in a refrigerator.
  3. Meanwhile,soak wooden skewers in a glass of water and grease a baking tray with refined oil.
  4. After 8 hours, pierce chicken and bell pepper cubes alternatively one by one in wooden skewers and place those skewers in the greased baking tray.
  5. Pre-heat oven at 200°Centigrade.
  6. Grill chicken for about 20 minutes, turning often to cook evenly.
  7. Cook out until you get nice grill marks.
  8. When done remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve hot with tomato and lemon slices.
