Tangy pumpkin

Ingredients to make Tangy pumpkin

  • 1 kg pumpkin
  • 2 inch ginger
  • 5 onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • methi seeds 1/2 spn
  • jeera 1/2 spn
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1/2 spn
  • haldi 1/2 spn
  • coriander leaves
  • coriander powder 1/2 spn
  • 3 Green chilli
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Half lemon juice
  • 2.5 spn suger

How to make Tangy pumpkin

  1. Deseed the pumpkin and dice it.
  2. Heat oil in non stick pan and add methi seeds , add jeera till it crackle .
  3. Than add sliced onions till light brown .
  4. Add tomato puree and green chilli cut in half till oil separate.
  5. Add pumpkin , salt and cook on low flame till more than half is cooked .
  6. Than add dry spices except coriander leaves .
  7. After few minutes add half lemon juice and 2.5 spn auger for tangy taste .
  8. Than pumpkin is cooked put it off flame.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves .
