Cocktail Samosa

Ingredients to make Cocktail Samosa

  • 1 cup Flour (maida)
  • 3 Potatoes boiled
  • 1/2 cup Peas
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tbsp Onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic-ginger paste
  • Water as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil (for frying)

How to make Cocktail Samosa

  1. Heat oil, add onions and ginger parlic paste and stir fry for a minute.
  2. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
  3. Now add the mashed poatatoes and peas. Stir until it becomes dry. Remove from heat.
  4. Mix flour with some salt and water to make a dough. Knead well
  5. Pinch off very small lemon sized balls out of the dough. Roll them out into round disks.
  6. Cut into half to make 2 samosas out of 1 round disk.
  7. Place a spoon of the potato mixture in the centre and seal it like a samosa
  8. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  9. Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the samosas until they become golden brown and crisp.
  10. Serve hot with desired chutney(good with Chilli garlic sauce too)
