Semolina Mango Cake

Ingredients to make Semolina Mango Cake

  • 1 cup Semolina/Suji
  • 1 cup Mango pulp
  • 1/2 cup Malai
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • A fist of slivered almonds and melon seeds
  • 1 tsp elaichi essence or any as per choice

How to make Semolina Mango Cake

  1. First in a bowl, add semolina. Mix malai, mango pulp, sugar and baking powder.
  2. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Add in nuts and mix nicely.
  4. If needed add 1 tbsp of milk.
  5. Dough should be of pouring consistency.
  6. Pour in a greased container.
  7. Place it in a preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 180 degree centigrade. When a toothpick inserted comes out clean, your cake is ready.
  8. Cut serve and enjoy with tea or milk.
My Tip: Give 15 minutes to rest the batter.
