STRAWBERRY AND CHERRY CRUMBLE

Ingredients to make STRAWBERRY AND CHERRY CRUMBLE

  • 1 cup cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup strawberries hulled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup almond powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup flaked almond
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 6 Tbsp soft butter

How to make STRAWBERRY AND CHERRY CRUMBLE

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 deg C atleast for 15 mins Put the strawberries and cherries into a deep baking dish, and with help of fork mash the berries.
  2. Add sugar , almond powder and vanilla essence and mix well with berries. In food processor combine flour,sugar, almond flakes and cinnamon powder and plus for few seconds then add butter , pulse until the mixture is coarse n sand like.
  3. Cover the fruit loosely and evenly with the crumbled mixture. Bake until the crumble topping is spotted with brown and berries juices bubble through, 35-45 minutes.
  4. Cool the crumble until lukewarm to allow the fruit to set. Serve with scoop of ice cream or dollop of fresh cream.
