About MANGO PANEER PASANDA TIKKA Recipe

Paneer pasanda is a dish in which paneer is cut into cubes and by making a slit in each cube a suffing is filled in the form of any type of chutney , usually green coriander and mint chutney is used , here i have used a ripe mango sauce

MANGO PANEER PASANDA TIKKA

Ingredients to make MANGO PANEER PASANDA TIKKA

  • 6-8 pieces of paneer cubes
  • Around 1 inch in size and
  • Make a slit in each of the cubes
  • For the stuffing
  • 1/2 cup of mango sauce
  • For Marination
  • 2 tbsp Hung curd
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp dhania powder
  • Pinch of haldi
  • 1 tsp tandoori masala
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi
  • 4 tbsp fresh ripe mango puree
  • 1 tbsp bhune chane ka powder
  • salt to taste
  • FOR ROASTING THE TIKKAS
  • 1 tbsp oil for brushing the paneer
  • FOR HUNG curd DIP
  • 1/2 cup hung curd
  • 1 tbsp cheese spread
  • 1 tbsp grated processed cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • salt to taste

How to make MANGO PANEER PASANDA TIKKA

  1. Fill the slit of the paneer cubes with mango sauce
  2. FOR THE MARINATION :
  3. Mix all the marination ingredients in a mixing bowl, mix nicely.
  4. Now put the paneer cubes in the marination. Coat them nicely with your hands
  5. Cover and keep them in the fridge for 3-4 hours for marination
  6. FOR ROASTING THE TIKKAS :
  7. Heat a pan or tawa on low heat.
  8. Now place the paneer cubes in the pan.
  9. There should be a gap between each cube. Brush each cube with little oil
  10. When they are roasted from one side. Turn them on the other side and again brush them with oil
  11. Roast from this also until becomes light brown
  12. When they are ready, Serve them with shredded onion , cucumber and tomato julienne and some lemon wedges.
  13. Serve them with green chutney, mango sauce , hung curd dip or any other chutney of your choice
  14. FOR HUNG CURD DIP :
  15. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  16. Blend very nicely , it is ready.

My Tip:

Slit the paneer cubes very carefully . Always cover and keep the paneer cubes in the fridge for marination , otherwise it may become very sour . Roast on low heat only for better results .
