Ingredients to make Aligot - French Mashed Potato with Cheese

  • 1/2 kg Potatoes
  • 200grams Tomme/Emmental cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 30grams Butter
  • 2 tbsp Fresh thick cream
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Salt
  • Pepper powder

How to make Aligot - French Mashed Potato with Cheese

  1. Cook the potatoes with enough salt in hot water, once the potatoes gets cooked, put off the stove. Peel the cooked potatoes and mash it with masher.
  2. Add in the finely crushed garlic and transfer the mashed potato to a pan.
