ABOUT Dhapate (Nagpanchami special) RECIPE

Dhapate is maharashtrian traditional spicy food which made on Nagpanchmi festival.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Gram flour 2 tablespoon
  2. Jowar flour 1 cup
  3. Rice flour 2 tablespoon
  4. Wheat flour 3 tablespoon
  5. Ajwan 1/2 tablespoon
  6. Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
  7. Dhana-jeera powder 1 tablespoon
  8. Garlic
  9. Green chilli
  10. Coriander
  11. Salt

Instructions

  1. Grind garlic, coriander and green chilli. To make a paste.
  2. Mix all flours, rest all ingredients and green paste with lukewarm water.
  3. Make thick dough. And rest it for 5 minutes.
  4. Take muslin cloth on stage and tap it with hand.
  5. Fry it on hot pan from both sides to make it little bit crispy.
  6. If you like you can deep fry it for more crispy.
  7. Serve it with cereal usal and curd.
