Ingredients to make Hassel Back Potatoes with garlic butter and mozzarella cheese

  • Potatoes 2
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Butter 1/2 stick
  • Garlic pods 5-6
  • Salt to taste
  • Blk pepper 1 tsp
  • Chilli flakes 1 tsp
  • Oregano herbs 1 tsp
  • Rosemary, i have used fresh coriander leaves
  • Baking tray
  • Oil brush
  • Mozzarella cheese 2 tbsp
  • Sharp knife

How to make Hassel Back Potatoes with garlic butter and mozzarella cheese

  1. Wash potatoes in running water pat dry then slice it thinly without peeling the skin carefully
  2. In a baking tray arrange potatoes greased with olive oil n bake in preheated oven at 180C for 10 minutes.
  3. Preparing garlic butter. Melt butter on low heat n add rosemary leaves or coriander leaves ,salt ,black pepper
  4. After 10 minutes take out potatoes tray of the oven n grease with garlic infused butter with the help of silicone brush again replace it in the oven for 10-15 min
  5. Again take them out and greased with garlic butter and bake for half an hour sprinkle oregano herb ,
  6. Spread Mozzarella cheese n bake for 5-6 minutes more till gets melt.
  7. Your hassel back baked potatoes infused with garlic butter and italian herbs smells heavenly ,crispy ,crunchy, frilled baked potatoes are ready to serve as side dish
