Potato Coriander Stew

Ingredients to make Potato Coriander Stew

  • Potatoes - 5 nos(medium sized chopped itno cubes)
  • Salt - to taste
  • INGREDIENTS FOR WET GRINDING
  • Fresh Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch
  • Green chiillies - 9 nos(add more if you want more spicy)
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Small onions - 1 cup
  • Coconut gratings - ½ cup
  • Grind the above ingredients to a smooth paste and keep aside.
  • INGREDIENTS FOR SEASONING
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  • Red chillies - 2 nos broken
  • oil or ghee - 1 tbsp

How to make Potato Coriander Stew

  1. Steam cook the potato cubes
  2. Add the ground coriander coconut paste to the boiled potatoes and mix well.
  3. Add the required salt and required water to get the desired consistency and boil it in a medium flame till the raw smell goes.
  4. Season the stew with fennel seeds and red chillies.
  5. Potato coriander stew is ready to serve.
  6. Serve hot with steaming white rice, rotis, dosas etc.
