Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ripe tomatoes 4nos.
  2. Coriander leaves 1cup.
  3. Green chillies 2nos.
  4. Ginger 1"piece.
  5. Besan 1cup.
  6. Red chilly powder 1tea spoon.
  7. Turmeric powder 1tea spoon.
  8. Coriander powder 1tea spoon.
  9. Garam masala powder 1/2tea spoon.
  10. Soda bi carb 1/4tea spoon .
  11. Carom seeds 1/2tea spoon.
  12. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Chop coriander leaves,green chillies and ginger coarsely.Keep aside.
  2. Cut each tomato longitudinally and scoop out pulp with the help of a spoon.
  3. Scoop out pulp from all tomatoes in the same manner.
  4. Mash tomato pulp and mix coriander_chilli mixture to it.Add 1/2tea spoon salt.
  5. Stuff about 1tea spoon this coriander_pulp mixture into one tomato.
  6. Now take besan in a bowl add turmeric powder,red chilly piwder,coriander powder,garam masala powder,salt soda bi carb and 1tea spoon oil.
  7. Mix all the ingredients well,add some water(about 1/2cup) to besan to make a semi thick batter.
  8. Leave batter for 5minutes.
  9. Heat a wok/kadahi,add oil for deep frying.
  10. Dip tomato into batter one by one.
  11. Coat each tomato slice with batter properly.Deep fry on medium to low flame for 5_7 minutes so that tomatoes should cooked properly from inside.
  12. Fry pakode in 2_3 in one batch.
  13. Take out when golden brown.
  14. Serve with red/green hot sauce.
