Ingredients to make Konafa Bi Jibn

  • Konafa 300 g
  • Melted butter 100 g
  • 300 g Cream+Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tbsp fine sugar
  • Cardamom as per taste
  • 100 ml sugar syrup flavored with orange blossom water

How to make Konafa Bi Jibn

  1. Separate the strands of konafa and mix well with the melted butter. Spread half of this evenly in bottom of ring mould placed on baking tray. Cover with the cheese mixed with fine sgar and cardamom. Cover with the remaining konafa pastry shreds.
  2. Bake for 30-45 minutes till it is nice golden brown. Pour cool flavored sugar syrup. Garnish with sliced dry fruits.

My Tip:

Beat the 2 cheeses together with sugar. Put in the ring mould and chill in fridge. Use the chilled slab in between the konafa layers. Saves a lot of messy work.
