Ingredients to make Hyderabadi Chicken korma

  • chicken -1 bowl
  • Desicated coconut-1 smal bowl
  • salt to taste
  • ghee-3tbsp
  • oil-1bsp
  • melon seeds-1tbsp
  • White khus khus-1tbsp
  • White sesame seeds-1tbsp
  • cream-200ml
  • chicken masala powder-1tbsp
  • onions-3medium
  • tomato -2
  • coriander leaves-1cup
  • mint leaves -1cup
  • cashew nut-10 nos
  • Whole Garam masala-1bowl
  • Garam masala powder-1tbsp
  • lemon -1tbsp
  • red chilly powder as per spice
  • ginger paste-1tbsp
  • garlic paste-1tbsp
  • yogurt-3tbsp
  • Coal for smoke

How to make Hyderabadi Chicken korma

  1. Take a vessel heat it, add desicated coconut, til, onions, coriander, mint leaves, melon seeds, turmeric powder and saute it till the raw smell goes cool it and make a fine paste of it
  2. Mean while marinate chicken with yogurt, cream, chilly powder, salt, garam masala powder, coriander leaves, little mint leaves, little and lemon juice set aside for 20min.
  3. Take a wok heat it add ghee add whole garam masalas add the roasted paste and cook till its brown in color add chopped tomatoes saute well add the marinated chicken cook till its tender add salt as per taste add red chilly powder garam masala powder, chicken masala powder saute well finally add cashew paste and bring to boil, garnish with mint n coriander leaves atlast give a smoke of coal korma is ready to eat serve with baigara rice

My Tip:

Roast the masalas well so that there won't be a raw smell
