Chole kulche is one the most popular street food in India .I made it in baked tacos form and the result was awesome.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour 500 gram
  2. Curd 1/2 cup
  3. Milk 1 cup
  4. Salt for kulchas 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  6. White peas 500 grams
  7. Salt for chole 2 teaspoon
  8. Red pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  10. Chana masala 2 teaspoons
  11. Tamarind chutney 2 tablespoons
  12. Green chutney 2 tablespoons
  13. butter 100 gram
  14. Onions 2 big piece
  15. Tomatoes 2 big pieces
  16. Green chillies 3..4
  17. lemon juice 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak the chickpeas overnight
  2. In a big plate sieve the flour
  3. Add salt and,baking powder in it
  4. Add curd
  5. Add oil
  6. Add milk
  7. Mix well
  8. Make a smoth soft dough with the help of water as much needed
  9. Cover with a cloth and keep to proove for 2 hours
  10. Meanwhile boil the soaked peas adding salt and 2 glasses of water till soft
  11. In pressure cooker it will take 15 minutes
  12. Meanwhile take a small ball of dough
  13. Roll it by rolling pin in a small chapati
  14. On the grill stand of oven give the shape of tacos
  15. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree for 15 minutes
  16. In boiled peas add all the spices
  17. Add Finley chopped onions ,tomatoes and green chillies
  18. Add tamarind chutney and coriander chutney
  19. Mix well
  20. Add lemon juice and chaat masala
  21. Fill 2 tablespoons chole in each tacos
  22. Serve immediately
