Ingredients to make Surti Locho
- Chana Dal- 1 cup(soaked for 5 hours)
- Urad Dal- 1/3 cup(soaked for 5 hours)
- Poha- 1/2 cup(soaked for 15 minutes)
- Oil- 4 tbsp.
- Green Chillies- 1(chopped)
- Hing- a pinch
- Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp.
- Red Chilli Powder- 1/2 tsp.
- Salt-1 tsp.(or as per taste)
- Sugar- 1 tsp.
- Black Pepper Powder- 1/2 tsp.
- Juice of a lemon (2tsp.)
- Coriander Leaves(chopped)- 2 tsp.
- Tomato- 1 (medium)
- Eno- 2 packets (2 tsp.)
How to make Surti Locho
My Tip:Add Eno in the end. Make sure that the tin doesn't touch the bottom and sides of the steamer. Always steam in a large cooker/wide pan so that it gets enough area for the steam to spread.
