Spring Roll stuffing

Ingredients to make Spring Roll stuffing

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup shredded chicken
  • 2 shredded carrots
  • 1 finely chopped capsicum
  • 2 finely sliced onion
  • Few spring onions chopped
  • 5-8 green chillies finely chopped
  • 6 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 -3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Spring Roll stuffing

  1. Add oil in a large wok. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies. Saute for 2 minutes
  2. Add onions and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in cabbage, chicken and carrots. Saute all together on a high flame.
  4. Add salt as per taste, remember that soy sauce also contains salt.
  5. When everything is cooked, this should take approx 5-10 minutes. Turn the heat on low, add pepper powder, soy sauce and vinegar. Stir to mix well.
  6. Turn off the flame, add chopped coriander leaves and spring onions.
  7. Let it cool. You can refrigerate and use when required or fill into the spring roll sheets and use.

My Tip:

Use a thick variety of cabbage or it will become mushy.
