Ingredients to make Shahi Paneer in White Gravy

  • paneer 500 gm
  • onion large 1
  • ginger finely chopped 2 inch piece
  • green chilli finely chopped 7
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • sugar 1 teaspoon
  • curd 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cream 1 cup
  • Garam masala Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • cashewnuts paste 1 tablespoon
  • oil

How to make Shahi Paneer in White Gravy

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add onion, ginger and green chilli. when onion becomes translucent then add cardamom powder and curd.
  2. cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
  3. take out these thing and let it cool and then make a fine paste.
  4. Now add few oil in a pan and add this paste and garam masala powder and salt and mix well.
  5. Then add cashewnuts paste and mix well and cook for 5 minutes and then add paneer cubes and sugar.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
  7. Now mix fresh cream and cover the lid of the pan and switch off the gas.
  8. Before serving, garnish with grated paneer.

My Tip:

fresh cream gives very rich taste to this recipe.
