Instant Bread Uttapam

Ingredients to make Instant Bread Uttapam

  • 8 to 10 slices of bread ( white or brown )
  • salt to taste
  • Pinch of Soda
  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • 1 cup fine semolina
  • 2 onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp coriander chopped
  • 3 green chillies chopped
  • 1 cup curd
  • water
  • 1 tbsp oil

How to make Instant Bread Uttapam

  1. Take the bread and cut the edges.
  2. In a bowl, take the bread, tear it into pieces.
  3. Then in that bowl add curd, semolina, rice flour, soda, salt and mix well.
  4. Then add little water, cover it and keep it aside for an hour.
  5. Then in a mixie grind the mixture into a smooth paste.
  6. The paste should be of medium consistency.
  7. Then turn the gas on, keep your non stick tawa and spread oil all over it.
  8. Then take a serving spoon, spread the batter, then add chopped coriander, onion, green chillies, and cover it with the lid for sometime. Then turn it upside down. It should be cooked from both the sides.
  9. Serve hot with chutney.

My Tip:

You can use either white bread or brown bread .
