Butter Lemon Salmon with Sage and Thyme

Ingredients to make Butter Lemon Salmon with Sage and Thyme

  • 500 gms of fresh Salmon fillets
  • For Marination
  • 1 tbsp butter (room temperature)
  • garlic Cloves 5-6
  • 5-6 sprigs of sage
  • 4-5 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • For cooking:
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • Apple cider vinegar 2 tsp
  • 1/2 cup of stock

How to make Butter Lemon Salmon with Sage and Thyme

  1. Wash the fish fillets and keep aside.
  2. In a blender take all the ingredients for marination and blend to a paste
  3. Now apply the paste as marination to the fish and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  4. In a pan put butter and keep the fish fillets gently to cook on a slow flame.
  5. Add all the spices and mix carefully into the fish.
  6. Once the fish is half cooked add the lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and fresh stock.
  7. Simmer the flame and cook for another 10 minutes.
