Ingredients to make Cheesy bread

  • Wholewheat flour/atta 2 cup
  • All purpose flour/maida 1 cup
  • yeast 1 & 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • sugar 1 tablespoon
  • oil 2 tablespoon
  • vinegar 1 & 1/2 tablespoon
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • water 1 cup
  • Little milk for brushing
  • Pizza sauce as require
  • Oregano to sprinkle
  • Cheese as much as you like

How to make Cheesy bread

  1. Mix sugar and yeast in 1/4 cup warm milk. Milk should be warm not hot. Stir well cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl take flours, oil, salt and vinegar. Mix well. Add yeast mixture and water.
  3. Make a smooth dough. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Smear with oil and cover with a kitchen napkin. Keep the bowl in a warm place.
  5. After 2 hours punch down the dough. Knead again.
  6. Take a oil greased loaf pan. Make a layer with half the dough.
  7. Spread pizza sauce over it. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese and oregano.
  8. Now cover it with remaining dough. You can use any stuffing of your choice.
  9. Cover the pan with a kitchen napkin and leave for one more hour for final proofing.
  10. Preheat the oven at 200° for 20 minutes. Brush the bread with milk.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes or until the colour becomes golden brown.
  12. Let it cool down. Slice and serve with butter.

My Tip:

Use the stuffing of your choice. You can use any vegetables for the stuffing.
