No bake chocolate tartlet

Ingredients to make No bake chocolate tartlet

  • 10 chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 5 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped dark chocolate

How to make No bake chocolate tartlet

  1. Separate the chocolate cookies and the filling. Set the filling aside in a bowl.
  2. Take the cookies and put in a zip love bag. Use a rolling pin to powder the cookies leaving a few coarse pieces. Then transfer to a bowl.
  3. In the bowl, add 4 tablespoons of the melted butter along with the cookie filling.
  4. Take a spoonful of the mixture and press into the tartlet mould making the surface as smooth as possible. Chill for 10 minutes.
  5. Next, in a microwave safe bowl put the chopped chocolate. Microwave the chocolate stirring every 30 seconds until it is all melted. Then, add the rest of the melted butter and mix properly. Bring to room temperature.
  6. Take the moulds out of the fridge and pour about 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of the melted chocolate mixture. Chill for 40 minutes in the fridge.
  7. Unmould the tartlets carefully making sure that the crust does not break or disintegrate.
  8. Serve with a cup of tea or just as it is. Enjoy!!

My Tip:

* make sure that the chocolate is at room temperature otherwise the cookie crust will disintegrate. * it so important to freeze the cookie mixture before pouring the chocolate mixture to keep it firm and prevent it from breaking.
