Pasta {Penne Rigate} in White Sauce

Ingredients to make Pasta {Penne Rigate} in White Sauce

  • Pasta {Penne Rigate} 100 gm
  • all purpose flour/ Wheat flour 1 tbsp
  • butter 2 tsp
  • Milk 1 cup
  • garlic cloves 6
  • Chopped onion 2
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • Sweet corn 1/2 bowl
  • Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 -1 tbsp
  • Piri piri, Black pepper and Italian seasoning as per choice
  • salt to taste

How to make Pasta {Penne Rigate} in White Sauce

  1. Boil the pasta in 1 liter of water with salt. Then filter the pasta in a sieve.
  2. Roast a tbsp of all purpose flour/wheat flour with butter.
  3. Pour in milk slowly while constantly stirring, then add black pepper, piri piri, italian seasoning and salt in it.
  4. Take 1 bowl of chopped onion and 5-6 garlic cloves, then blend it to form a paste. Next, saute the paste in oil till it turns golden brown in colour.
  5. Take half a bowl of sweet corn and microwave it with 1 tbsp of butter.
  6. Add corn into the garlic-onion paste to the sauce and mix it well. Add some shredded cheese to the sauce and mix it again.
  7. Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce, gently taking care not to break the pasta while doing so.
  8. Garnish with cheese, Italian seasoning and piri piri to serve.

My Tip:

Add oil to the drained pasta which prevents it from sticking. Pour in milk slowly to the flour and stir the sauce continuously to prevent lump formation.
