Mushroom Do Pyaza

Ingredients to make Mushroom Do Pyaza

  • mushrooms 2 cups, diced
  • onions 1 cup, diced
  • peas 3 tbsp
  • green chillies 3-4
  • tomatoes diced 1 cup
  • garlic and ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • Degi mirch 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • cinnamon 1" piece
  • bay leaves 2
  • Black cardamoms 3
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • methi leaves 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • cream/Malai 2 tbsp
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Mushroom Do Pyaza

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the black cardamom, bay leaves, cinnamon, cumin seeds, degi mirch, turmeric, garlic-ginger, green chilli and onions. Saute till it turns translucent.
  2. Add the tomatoes, capsicum, mushrooms, peas, salt, methi leaves and garam masala. Cover and cook on a low heat for 10 minutes or till it's done.
  3. Next add the cream and coriander leaves. Cook it for 2 mins.
  4. Serve it warm alongside chapatis.

My Tip:

Cream is optional, you can avoid it.
