Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Mawa - 2 cup
  2. Granulated sugar - 1 cup
  3. Cardamom pods - 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Melted chocolate - 1/2 cup
  5. Milk chocolate - 1/2 cup
  6. Rose essence - 1 teaspoon
  7. Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
  8. For Garnish ::::::
  9. Chopped pistachios - 3 tablespoons
  10. Silvered almonds - 2 tablespoons
  11. Butter - 2 teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Heat a heavy bottomed pan and add 1 cup of mawa and 1/2 cup of sugar .
  2. As the sugar starts to melt , stir it frequently until it becomes dry and forms a thick dough .
  3. Remove from heat and stir in rose essence and cardamom pods .
  4. Greased a tray and pour the mixture into the greased dish , cover and set it aside .
  5. Meanwhile heat 1 teaspoon of butter in a pan and add 1 cup of mawa , 1/2 cup of sugar and mix well .
  6. Add melted chocolate and milk chocolate and mix well .
  7. Cool until the mixture becomes dry and froms a thick dough .
  8. Pour over the mawa layer , generously sprinkle pistachios and slivered almonds on top . Cover and refrigerate to set .
  9. When its cooled and set , remove the tray from the refrigerator , cut into individual squares .
  10. Serve & Enjoy ☺☺
