Ingredients to make Eggless French toast fingers

  • 1ripe banana
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1tsp honey
  • ĵ tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup cup crushed cornflakes
  • 2 tbsps fruit jam or orange marmalade
  • To Serve with - icing sugar
  • glazed cherries
  • fruit sauces
  • pudina leaves

How to make Eggless French toast fingers

  1. Blend bananas in a food processor, along with milk, honey and cinnamon powder.
  2. Take out this mixture into a large bowl.
  3. Spread fruit jam or orange marmalade on bread slices evenly.
  4. Cut bread slices into finger shape.
  5. Soak the bread fingers in banana mixture for 1 minute.
  6. Once bread is soft, coat with the crushed cornflakes and fry in a non-stick pan with a little bit of melted butter.
  7. Once the slices are golden brown on both sides.
  8. Serve with icing sugar, glazed cherries, fruit sauces and pudina leaves.
My Tip: Instead of eggs I Used bananas blended in a food processor, along with milk, honey and cinnamon powder.flavour with fruits make this recipe healthy and tasty. Serve with mango-strawberry sauce.
