Sweet coconut paniyaram

Ingredients to make Sweet coconut paniyaram

  • Rava 1/2 cup
  • Grated fresh coconut 1/2 cup
  • Grated jaggery 1/2 cup
  • maida 3 tblspoon
  • cardamom powder 1 pinch
  • nutmeg powder 1 pinch
  • salt as 1 pinch
  • Cooking soda 1 pinch
  • Half banana mashed (optional)
  • ghee for frying

How to make Sweet coconut paniyaram

  1. Soak rava in water for half an hour
  2. Drain excess water and add all other ingredients and mix well
  3. Heat paniyaram pan
  4. Fill each shallow with 1/2 tspn ghee
  5. And then pour the remaining 3/4th with batter
  6. Cook covered on low flame for 2 minutes or until one side is firm
  7. Flip and cook until golden
  8. Serve warm with drizzle.of honey or hot cup of tea.

My Tip:

Adding mashed banana makes them softer and yummier. Its a healthy breakfast for kids too.
