Eggless Chocolate Fudge Cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Chocolate Fudge Cake

  • flour 100 gm
  • baking soda 2 gm
  • Castor sugar 90 gm
  • oil 60 ml
  • Cocoa powder 14 gm
  • salt 0.5 gm
  • Warm water 120 ml
  • vinegar 7.5 ml
  • Condensed milk 1 tin
  • Cocoa powder 3 to 5 tbsp
  • Dark chocolate 1/4 cup

How to make Eggless Chocolate Fudge Cake

  1. Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt together and mix in the castor sugar.
  2. Mix warm water, oil and vinegar thoroughly.
  3. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and transfer the entire wet mixture.
  4. Gently fold until evenly mixed.
  5. Line pan with a parchment paper and bake at 170 degree centigrade for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
  6. Once its done, take the pan from the oven and let it cool. Do not take the cake out of the pan before it is completely cooled.
  7. To prepare the fudge topping: heat condensed milk in a pan and once it starts simmering on the sides, mix in the dark chocolate and cocoa powder.
  8. Remove from heat and keep stirring until there are no lumps. Once its cooled pour a layer of it on the cake.

My Tip:

The consistency of the topping can be altered according to your taste. Do not take the cake out if the pan before it is completely cooled.
