Vrat wali Aloo bhujia

Ingredients to make Vrat wali Aloo bhujia

  • Kuttu ka aata- 2 cups
  • Boiled potatoes - 4 ( medium size)
  • salt- 1 and 1/4th tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Little water
  • oil for frying

How to make Vrat wali Aloo bhujia

  1. Sieve kuttu flour , grate potatoes and add to the flour .
  2. Add salt and red chilli powder
  3. Mix well and make a soft dough . If you find it too dry sprinkle some water and then knead . Keep aside the dough .
  4. Heat oil in a kadahi
  5. Take a chakli press . Grease it with oil . Use the sev attachment .
  6. Put some dough in the press and make sev. Let it drop directly into the hot oil .
  7. Fry till all the bubbles disappear.
  8. Remove from oil and keep it on a tissue paper to remove excess oil .
  9. Let it cool and store in an air tight jar .

My Tip:

You can make it without potatoes . It will be plain bhujiya then .
