Honey Sawa pudding

Ingredients to make Honey Sawa pudding

  • honey 1 cup
  • Sawa rice 1/2cup
  • Full fat milk 3cups
  • Cleaned and chopped dates 1/2cup
  • Soaked and chopped almonds 1/2cup
  • cardamom powder 1/2tbsp

How to make Honey Sawa pudding

  1. Soak sawa rice in already boiled and cooled milk for 15minutes.
  2. After soaking start boiling this mixture of rice and milk.
  3. Keep stirring to avoid lumps.
  4. Boil till the rice becomes tender and creamy.
  5. Put off the vessel from the heat and add dates, almonds and cardamom powder to it n let it cooled in fridge.
  6. Mix honey at the time of serving. Add according to taste . you may add extra milk if needed to dilute the thick texture.
  7. Relish this no white sugar recipe n enjoy fasting.

My Tip:

Always keep a cup of already boiled and cooled milk ready, to dilute the thickness .
