Ingredients to make Powder Milk Gulab Jamun

  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • Milk as per requirement
  • For sugar syrup:
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 water

How to make Powder Milk Gulab Jamun

  1. Make a soft dough with the above ingredients and keep for 30 minutes, covering the dough.
  2. Meanwhile make a medium thin syrup with 2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cup water. Add elaichi powder.
  3. Make marble size balls from the dough.
  4. Fry in oil with on a low flame till the colour of the balls is golden /dark brown.
  5. In warm syrup, dip for 30 minutes (syrup should not be hot).
  6. Powder milk gulab jamun is ready to serve.
